🖥️ Second screen and remote connection

Mirror your monitor to the phone and connect over mobile data when you're away.

Second screen (Pro)

1. In the program, open Settings → the Second screen card and tick Second screen: stream the monitor to the phone.
2. To use it by touch, also turn on Let the phone work as a mouse (touch) and keyboard.
3. On the phone, open ⋯ → Second screen.

With more than one monitor, you can choose which one shows on the phone. The image only goes to your paired phone and is never recorded.

Remote connection (mobile data)

• Without a shared Wi‑Fi, the phone connects through PanelDeck's relay. Nothing to set up; the connection is end-to-end encrypted and the relay can't see the content.
• On mobile data the second screen runs at low quality (up to 4 frames per second) and a session lasts up to 20 minutes; you can open it again. The app warns you about data use every time.
• To turn it off, untick Remote connection: also connect over mobile data in the program's Settings → Wireless connection card.
